Pakistani mangoes are famous around the world due to their unique taste and aromatic fragrance. Due to a high level of sweetness, they are highly perishable requiring special arrangements for transportation out of Pakistan.
At JCC Foods, we have a specialised and trained team that procure the best mangoes from the southern regions of Pakistan; sort and grade, picking the best size and weight preferred by Japanese customers; process through a vaporized heat treatment (VHT) plant duly approved by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (MAFF); and, then transported to Japan through air transportation, ensuring freshness all the way from farm to our end consumers who enjoy and like this special gift from Pakistan very much.
Production of mangoes in Pakistan, every season, goes over 1.5 million tons mainly grown in the provinces of Punjab and Sindh with major mango-growing districts. Mangoes are Pakistan’s second largest fruit crop, making Pakistan 6th largest producer of fresh mangoes in the world.
Being a good source of energy - carrying 100 calories a piece on average, mangoes from Pakistan are also rich in Vitamins C & A and Dietary Fibre, making this King-of-Fruits a healthy choice during the summer season.
